RE:Magino's AISC $1,272/oz next yearLyChauncey wrote: Alamos thinks Magino's AISC would be $1,272/oz next year as presented in page 11 of Alamos' presentation. It's even better than my forecst of $1,350/oz taken out of tailing management facitity expense and with higher throughput.
What's the purpose of the Operational Updates that highlighting horrifying AISC numbers which drops the stock price from 40 cents level to 23 cents level just a month earlier? If not for that, the Alamos' 34% premium would be 54 cents a share. I don't even want to mention how the naked short selling with insider knowledge($85M bought deal financing) brought share price from 72 cents all the way to 38 cents in Q4 2023. Seriously, value investing based on fundamental does not work in this kind of envrionment. Feeling so sad for Canadian mining sector and investors who put their hard-earned money into those companies.
was that calculated with Alamos tonage being added to the Magino tonage and run thru the mill?
we know that the stuff Alamos is digging up has a much higher grade of oz per ton so hence the drop in AISC.
I think i remember them saying thats how they were going to handle it next year?!
