OK, I listened to the Market Call clip, as promised. Jaime seems to think Argonaut has a low cost of production and that they recently raised money to do an acquisition.

I shudder to think that some people actually PAY this clown for advice.

Perfectly obvious that the caller, one Paul from Toronto, was miles ahead in the knowledge department. Where does BNN find these alleged experts? Jaime should do himself a favour and decline the next interview opportunity. It's all well and good to seek publicity when you're a retail broker; to consistently expose your lack of knowledge, an embarrassing lack of knowledge, is perhaps evidence of hubris run amok???

All very true. Bnn is a waste of time if you are doing research into companies. Some of the guests are idiots and some are industry titans. But you never get any useful info from any of them as their answers are too short and superficial. I was heavily into oil stocks a couple of years ago. And stupid enough to regularly watch bnn. If i had listened to the parade of idiots when it came to the oil ...more
