This is too high. I mean way too high. High gold price compensated for that but costs need to come down significantly!

What's causing the AISC to rise so much? Is it just temporary due to COVID-19 disruptions?

Seems less gold realized from lower stacking rates in Q1/Q2, and higher overall costs - partially attributable to acquisitions and financing activities.  Overall, a miss on the top line by a large margin (est was $119m), and slight miss on EPS of .04 (consensus estimate was .05). I would say it is mostly attributable to the ongoing modifications at Florida Canyon. The next contributor seems to be a decrease in ore tonnes to leach pads during the second quarter, especially at San Agustin. Cash costs by mine: El Castillo $850 La Colorada $910 Florida Canyon $1,353 I don't see anything spectacular in the results. I am looking forward to the completion of ...more

Yes they loaded almost 3 times as much ore onto the pads quarter over quarter. Florida Canyon was part of that but in no way made up the whole amount. So I would say they had to play serious catch up because of Covid.
