My opinion would be the obvious,,,Alamos  because of it location,,, but also Torex in Mexico.. but Torex is bigger more valued  and a company that may want to expand out of Mexico .  But the truth is any company with vision may pick up this company.  One would think at this low stock price  where are they?  Imho.   I think the stumbling block could be golds ...more

Well somebody is doing their damnest to keep AR's stock price down. The outstanding short shares have risen to a mind blowing 10.3 million shares (from 5 million a few months ago). Some entity (Alamos?) keeps selling borrowed shares into any and all rallies. No investment outfit is stupid enough to short a solid, growing company like AR, so it has to be an outfit with deep pockets and ulterior ...more

Let's see if gold can do a big rise like bit coin.. I'd love to see that.. it's fir something.. but a lagging sector an not a big interest in it from others

My best guess is the relentless shorting is pressure to force management to accept some type of ...more

Hard to say with stock... this stock has been basically stagnant since conception   realistically... looking back at charts it really has never done much at all.    Most just wait and wait on the future possibilties,      Shorting has always been high on this stock,,  you are right not this high.    I would like  all to contact Dan Symons  ...more

This stock should be sitting at 10.00 by now. No idea why it isn't..

Good tip - I Probably will ask Mr, Symons who is shorting the company. Just on a comparative scale and using Alamos as an example - who have approx 400 million shares with only 900 k of those shorted. AR has about 300 million shares and over 10 million shorts. 11 times more than Alamos and way more than almost every gold producer out there. When you have a pencil neck writer like Taylor Dart ...more

Sometimes  one poses the question to an individual,, just to feel out the answer,   you can usually tell alot  by the details in which they answer the questions.       So  for what it might be worth  I would still pose the question to Mr.Symons..   also  it is great to see some fire  here    its been to quiet  too ...more
