What exactly Is going on here

Every day now for quite a while, tsx reports AR as the top volume trade. What is it? Is it the smart unloading tons of shares on the dumb or the other way around.  If there was a real reason for all this action there would be some change in the price. It all seems odd. If there was real demand one would think the price would move at least a little. This company is like a bad dream

Doesn't have to mean anything. My guess is lots of traders scalping a penny here and there. For example sell 100 000 at .60, and buy back 100 000 at either .59, .60, or even .61 depending on how good or bad your day went. lol. Essentially causing an uptick in volume while really mostly flat for the day. Sometimes a guy holding only a hundred thousand shares can churn a 300 000 share volume ...more

Not that easy with a 1 cent spread. Unless your broker offers no spread. Ranging between 61 cents and 59 cents, I would be buying at 60 cents and selling at 60 cents.

It was alot easier when the volume was much higher. The last week or so it is really only a game worth playing if you don't mind just trading a few around the margins and maybe even taking a day or so to finish up your trade. If you have a big enough position, to trade around you really don't mind if you leave a little on the table. lol.  But my guess is it still is accounting for at ...more
