a bit of a kick in the teeth ?? i guess we hold Alamos shares now and any increase from $18.45 is more money in our pockets. the other possible up-side is that another major like Barrick or Newmont will come along and outbid Alamos who is getting the mine for a steal of a price.

I agree they stoled it...... but no toher offers coming. The mine sites and strike zones are literally right beside each other. Huge win for shareholders, lots of synergies with sharing of resources, tailings, management. Lot's of upside for savings; but to your view about your teeth; yes it will now take some time to see your SP and investment payout. Long term this is really good news!
