For even deeper historical background about the determined resistance of the people in the region of Rooster Hill to outsiders, it is worth studying the story of the Yaqui nation and the battle of Cerro del Gallo (1927)

Many on this board have discovered to their financial harm the toxic and duplicitous conduct of AR management and board. For the people of Rooster Hill, the matter of AR -- or its detritus, collection of run out mines, and other left-over gravel pits cobbled together in Newco -- toxicity and duplicity is a matter of life and death, and the fair determination by the people of Rooster Hill of the value of clean drinking water and a preserved aquifer (especially in an age of growing drought) over the filthy lucre of heap leach gold extracted by a foreign company of dubious ethics is worth considering as part of due diligence as to the likelihood of permits and development.

Further, it is up to investors to consider whether they want to have any part of the Newco Spinco in their portfolio, including Rooster Hill, and check their own ESG ethical compass.

Not knowing what the consensus of this Board is on the spun out Newco, and I am not so sure that you speak for the entire board in any event (as Bobofet once observed about your posts "so much hate here") you have stated your "me included" analytical position as:   SpinCo starts with a 10:1, does what all desperate reverse situations do, goes down, reverses again

Tim--of course we expect our companies to improve their environmental footprint, good business politically which should translate into stability and profitability.  There's a time and place for everything, what I suggest is that this is not the place and that your sentiments would be better expressed among those who march for Hamas, environmentalist zealots and other causes best left
