It operates through two segments within the infrastructure development industry: Construction and Concessions. Its Construction segment includes all aspects of the construction of both public and private infrastructure, primarily in Canada, and internationally and focuses primarily on the civil infrastructure, urban transportation solutions, nuclear power infrastructure, utility infrastructure and industrial infrastructure. Its Concessions segment include the development, financing, build and operation of construction projects primarily by way of public-private partnership contract structures, as well as integrating the services of all project participants. The Company’s projects include Annacis Water Supply Tunnel, Bell Canada Gigabit Fiber Service, Finch West LRT, and others.

ifrastructure boom

well youngkid I have to agree with you. Good post. It's amazing the way govts at all levels are committing to the infrastructure boom and in a big way. The front page of the windsor star showed that 19,000 jobs will be created in regards to the new roadway/infrastructure projects related to the new gateway leading from the Ambassador Bridge. These jobs are to last about six years. The article didn't even get into the fact about the new Ambassador Bridge being built and the jobs and money coming from their (though this is being done privately). Amazing at all the big dollars being spent on new infrastructure!! ARE a good/safe place to be.
