RE:RE:ReverseSplitIdiots 2: The AftermathYes the analysts help a lot in moving the share price.
This is the order of what happened with NMI
1 Company turns around to become profitable
2 Reverse split to make the share price over a dollar
3 Analysts follow company
4 Institutions buy
Analysts are much more likely to follow a company if it is profitable and over a dollar. They don't usually follow a money losing company under a dollar that intitutions can't buy.
Institutions are more likely to buy if there is an analyst. So don't expect institutions to immediately buy GCM just because it is over a dollar. They want corroborating evidence from analysts.
Sprott bought a big chunk of NMI after there were analysts and after the share price was way over a dollar.
Onsite visit helps to add analysts. Sprott will be at the gold conference in Colombia. While he is already there, there is a good chance he would make an onsite visit to the largest gold producer in Colombia, GCM.

Even the top brass weren`t sure their motions would pass . And there could be dilution but it won`t be massive . We only have a paltry number of shares out . For me the sweating is over . I own a very clean , well run company that`s going to gush money . If you have to wish for something wish for an anlyst or two to start following the company . They are the guys that can really make things happen , as sad as that is . When you start seeing GCM on BNN you start to see action . Fretting about debs and dilution is a waste of time . Get out and pump this baby .
