The present valuation does not make sense to me
Still fairly new to this stock. Am I missing something? September production 20,644 ounces x $1900 /ounce gold = $39,223,600. The October presentation talks about $700 cost of production.
That is a lot of cash. You do the math
".Frank Holmes, U.S. Global Investors (August 20, 2020, Twitter) “ GCM has the highest free cash flow yield 16% vs 75 gold stocks we follow with median 2.5%. Gold stocks trade at 13x cash flow and GCM is 3x.”

Hi 7Twiggy, since the September production results are expected to be communicated to the public on Oct 14th / 15th, where do you already know the exact number (20,644 oz) today? Cheers, Gotti

I asked a similar question on CEO. Trying to figure out why its so low? Either way I loaded up. When gold explodes....undervalued companies will go ballistic.

Like it or not, GCM has been undervalued for years. Mgmt/board don't seem to really care so don't expect major upside. I've been in GCM 3+ years, have more than a double, but other AU stocks I hold have done dramatically better. That being said, I keep hoping that the mgmt/board will take steps to improve the stock price (but won't hold my breath).

If that is the case Iacono must be a pretty good actor. In the interview he did in the last few weeks he sounded like someone who cared a lot. The board has aurthorized a share byback of 5,900,000 of the float. That is one of the better moves I have seen for a company to try and improve their share price. They also just initiated a dividend.

and by the way that 5,9000,000 represents 10% of the float.

Hmmmm ??? Very interesting !!! Let say GMC buys the 350,000 share at the market price. What happens to the share buy back??? Does it goes into escrow or shares gets taken out the float ??? Does the money used to buy the shares goes into the earnings ??? Best Regards, Knightrider12 Hold Long and Prosper !!! ;-)
