great price to buyback shares. a full dollar lower than their previous buy! gcm bought toro for $300 mil using $6 gcm shares. if gcm buys back shares at $4 that means they bought toro for that much cheaper: $4/$6 x $300 mil = $200 mil cdn. when toro is worth usd$800 mil @1500 gold. that is if they can buyback that many shares at $4.

yes yes yes ...  But don't miss the elephant in the room ... And the elephant is Petro able to win on the first round.( polls )  This doesn't make salivating the big investors . Even fino who is buying spain hand over fist rather than gcm even very oversold. ...Good luck with the upper side of marmato....with petro ..

what elephant poll shows petro able to win first round with 50% of votes? upper side of marmato is priced at $0. why would you be worried it will be priced at $0 again? did you sell all or most of your gcm shares? fully funded toro is not in colombia and worth a lot more than gcm market cap. no matter what petro does, guyana cannot disappear.

your link does not show petro winning in the first round. it shows nobody winning in the first round. petro 40% can't win in the first round.  50%+1 is needed. a fully funded project does not have to be built before it has value. toro net present value is usd$794 mil @ $1500 gold. unfunded the project can be worth 50% of npv fully funded worth 75% of npv = usd$595, much higher than gcm ...more
