IMO, investment funds load on US $, take long $US dollar positions and. at the same tim hedge or derisk their long by taking short positions in PM miners. The rational, as the US $ and PM prices are inversely correlated and as long the Feds continue with its QT and increased interest rates policy, this effectively puts a lid on PM appreciation

well, other miners are performing pretty good today. ARIS again down more than 2%. Mulit year lows reached already. The question is how low can it go. All time low is around 1 CAD, not that far away anymore.  But anyway, the more interesting question is what is the reason. Sergovia is performing pretty good, so that won't be thre reason. Pete, there are probably a number of reasons, some legit others not so much. Personally I don't like Frank Guistra involved since his association with Clinton Crime Family. That reason should bring out some dandy replies. There are still nitwits that look at huge debt without realizing they have that and more in cash. The fundamentals for Aris Mining are rock solid (pardon the pun). The amalgamation and the lag time to trade the newly formed entity played a major role in its recent decline, add in the perception that GCM was on the short end and you have a recipe for an unwarranted decline. For good measure throw in those who are mourning a $0.18 dividend. I don't like the recent decline but I understand it

Too bad someone doesn't mention a buyback down here. Of course, maybe they don't think it's cheap. I've stuck to the buy when insiders buy or there is a buyback. When they think it's cheap I'll follow suit.  T
