How is this possible

How is it possible that oil is up (both WTI and WCS) by almost 80 cents ...now pushing 72.00 and ARX is now down.....this seems like manipulation at its finest...but why?

Do you think it could have anything to do with ARC cutting it capex from 2020 Kakwa budget levels.  In 2020 old ARC or VII Generation had initially set a budget for Kakwa of 1.1 billion and it was going to produce around 205,000 boe a day for 2020. That budget was later reduced to 900 million and it ended up lower, but last year was really a survival year for everyone.  This year the ...more

Don't sweat. Just pumping the breaks to slow down the run-up. Institutions use selling and buying like a pressure release valve, or pump, depending on what they want. Right now, they want to slow the stock so they can buy as much as possible as cheap as possible - before Q2 numbers explode. For them to sell a few million shares so they can buy ten times that at a cheaper price is well worth it ...more
