BIG buys at the close

Big volume today and further big buys and volume at the close. Could some company be taking a run at Arc? They could buy up to 10% (5%??) on the sly before making a bid. Maybe someone out there could help clear up my delusions. Are there companies big enough and compatible enough to try to take over Arc? Or is this just institutional buying and NCIB heavy buying?
