RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Avino in commercial production effective April 1st
You are very late in coming into this discussion (not your fault as I did not know you long ago). About 12 years ago I met with ASM management and tried to pressure them into keeping the metal in the ground until we had much higher silver prices on a consistent basis. They also operated Bralorne Gold at the time so my fight applied to both companies. They seemed to have someone on the management team who agreed with this strategy of withholding production while others (it seems the majority) did not. ASM should NOT have gotten itself into the position of having to go into production to pay back financing. That was a huge error and an elementary mistake rooted in management's thinking long ago to not agree with the strategy of withholding production until ASM could realize much higher silver prices on a consistent basis. Now they have trapped themselves: they need to go into production to pay Samsung, and they needed to issue the press release in a disinterested market stating they are going into commercial production. Thus, I am in pain. Exactly the type of problems I foresaw 12 years ago if a strategy of withholding production was not taken are coming to fruition now. We are at war with a ruthless cabal who have severely manipulated the metal prices yet management appears to be oblivious to this reality and are anxious to sell our valuable silver because they think production without price is a valuable thing.
