RE:RE:For Sale ---To The Highest BidderFrom the Jun 30 NR re: the voting results. It is expecvted the 4 directors wil offer their resignations. Next the companies board of directors will vote, with the resigning directors abstaining from the vote to decide if the 4 resigning directors will stay. Fortesque's reasons for withholding their vote will be considered whether to accept the resignations or not. This is to be done as promptly as possible and within the 90 days required by the TSX. Fortesque believes a reconstituted board would be beneficial for Alta Copper and will result in further accelleration of the Canaraico project.
So, presumably the remaining 3 directors will decide who the new directors will be. They better be good or else the other 69% will not vote for them. Fortesque has 31% of Alta's voting power to get their directors elected.
Fortesque talks about accellerated development of the project. That probably means little or no drilling putting the drilling of Quebrava Verde in question. Drilling Quebrada Verde is very important in that, if a discovery is made there, considerable value will be added to the company. This is important as a discovery there will attract interest from the majors who look for jumbo deposits like La Granja next door.
