Stock Purchase Plan about to Kick-In?
Just wondering if last week's insider buying is a pre-cursor to upcoming activity within the company's Stock Purchase Plan. Management mentioned on the recent analyst call that the Plan would continue to be active in the near-term. You have to believe that the Plan is going to kick-in at some point in the very near future to take advantage of these rock bottom prices. Would not be surprised to see some Plan purchases starting next week. Thoughts?

No doubt if the boss is buying, then the SPP would naturally follow suit...As for the mention of the purchase plan on the call, one may perceive it to be a warning to the shorters that the company will protect any downward pressure on it's SP.

That text is missing a lot of characters because Stockhouse doesn't display accented characters. The French text roughly translates to: ----- If no other major transaction is in the horizon, Couche-Tard will contemplate accelerating the previously announced stock repurchase. "Economic setbacks gave us the best opportunities in the past", remarked the CEO.
