Athabasca Oil Corporation (AOC) is a Canadian energy company with a focused strategy on the development of thermal and light oil assets. AOC’s segments include Light Oil and Thermal Oil. The Thermal Oil segment includes the Company’s assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of bitumen from sand and carbonate rock formations located in the Athabasca region of Northern Alberta. It also consists of two operating oil sands steam assisted gravity drainage projects and a resource base of exploration areas in the Athabasca region of northeastern Alberta. So answer me this please.
if these DSUs can only be redeemed if you leave or die what if the company gets taken out or merge somehow. Dose the recipients get paid out?
 

my thinking: 
The financing seems to be taking longer than it should. Would there be a case that maybe they are working on a deal and financing isn't Necessary. We all know management doesn't hold a lot of shares but they now have this DSUs option. A takeout or merger would probably not need all current management. It's one way for management to give up a good paying position and think of shareholders first. 

I know it out there but a little board watching.97 .98 .99 .98 .99 .97 .98 .99.
