RE:You People Are ALL LOST On This ATH BB !

RE:You People Are ALL LOST On This ATH BB !z..... we all know CVE is a great company.  Am a shareholder there as well.
For 2024 they are spending $2.5B+ on just Oil Sands to maintain production at 600k b/d.
Roughly where it is today.
Not saying you cant grow Christina Lake by throwing a billion dollars at it but costs to maintain total current production and maintenance costs for the refineries comes first (projected $4.5B to $5B for 2024)
Their investors dont want them to increase the debt sitting at $7.2B (thats alot of interest payments).
Correct me if wrong, production at Christina Lake is projected down slightly for next year with large turnaround scheduled for 3rd QTR, so not that easy to grow it unless you have extra cash sitting around.
Regardless, no one sensible here talking about buy-out at this point just because of a tiny JV.
It's just a business relationship.
