Commonguy wrote: Once again , too many investors are glued to all Eric Nuttall is promoting. Bear in mind he enters positions in companies to benefit his clients and not all his moves are true gems. Baytex and Tamarack are two such examples as well as exiting Athabasca previously. Eric still promotes Cenovus and maybe why he would like ATH share to decline making it cheaper to be bought out by CVE. ATH crosses all the boxes and will continue to increase with or without EN!

Couldn't agree more. First of all, EN needs to look after his account holders who have been through some very tough times over the past few years. So if he can punch out with an 80% profit for them, more power to him. Besides, he's always on the hunt for potential doubles or more which explains why he also sold off most of his long time favourite MEG yesterday morning.

As for ATH, if Nuttall was the only analyst covering the company, then perhaps you could understand why investors might follow him out the door. But of course, that is not the case. We have analysis from Eight Capital, BMO, Stifel, Desjardins, ATB, Canaccord, RBC and TD. The last four of these have a $6.00 target for ATH and that was before the price of oil began taking off due to the ever increasing turmoil in the Middle East.  GLTA
