It looked like around 7 mil of the 17 mill shares traded today , did so in the last 30 seconds of the day.

But the price fell slightly.

Only dropped about 3 cents into the close so that's nothing. I can't tell if those last trades were longs or shorts. i'd love to know . My guess is they are shorts . And in the morning the stock will do a quick drop and these same shorts will cover very rapidly taking a 5 - 8 cent profit before daily longs send them running for cover . Tomorrow , it may even drop more like 20- 25 cents

Deutz... please be aware that I am only stating an opinion. Its not a fact . I am only speculating. That huge amount of shares that traded at the close could be just about anything.

For sure there is a lot of short cover, just look Morgan Stanley  at the end,  over  6 millions shares traded   at $2.93.

Yes it was a wild close on the bid/ask.   6.85 million right at the close.
