Thank you for your reply. I read a bit more into the idea that a dividend is under review. In my experience once management says a dividend is under review it is generally cut in the future. I just do not think that in this case management should have even brought the idea of a dividend cut to shareholders.
I do agree with you that there will be a rebound over the coming months, but I also dont think that shareholder should have to have 10% of the investment cut in one day because management can not make up their mind on how to run this company in a fiscally responsibly manner.
I personally bought into this company with the idea that management was going to continue to do what they said. Pay down debt and continue to pay a small dividend, with the notion out there that the dividend would return to a normal point once the debt situation has been paid down and restructured.
From the confrence call this week now I am left with a very different feeling. This is a large company with a lot of assets, I feel from listening to the call that management has no new answers and now is grasping at strings to make this work.
How about they either get some better accountants or some better analysts and give us some better guideance rather than just say well anything is possible, maybe we will cut the dividend maybe we will not...
To many maybe's here.... From an individual investors point of view I bought in with the idea that they were going to do one thing, now MAYBE they will or MAYBE they wont....
