RE:SNC Patience is actually the only thing required.
However, even if SNC share price appreciation has been 60% since thebeginning of this year, we should also look at the fact that the precovid price, having already recovered from the various scandals, was sitting around 30-32$ right before covid.
Considering this, you are looking at a limited 10% in price appreciation since then while WSP for example, has improved its cap by at least 80%.. that's a huge difference and I understand why some share holders are frustrated.

Some days there are more sellers whose stock must be absorbed whether they are shorting or simply selling as many on this board have done to trim very large positions or sell out entirely. If anybody wants to compare this equity with the returns of WSP that is a fools game. WSP never had significant issues including fraud charges nor do they have a market that demands a "show me" attitude. I invested in this stock because at $19-22 SNC was tremendously undervalued. I continued adding to my position up to $32. I was overweight and trimmed in the mid 30's to 38. The market must absorb shareholders like myself and the SP performance has been fine. Additionally one cannot blame Ian for no dividend increase nor share buyback as he reports to a BOD and they are the final arbiter. Last selling the 407 might at this moment not be as easy as we think. I drove on the 407 a few times earlier this year and at 5:00 P.M. there was absolutely no traffic going from East to West. I don't believe selling an asset when business is down 60% is necessarily a wise thing if selling this asset is even being considered by the board. While many have issue with an 8 million dollar salary ,for a CEO who gave all of us shareholders 80%+ returns this past year I don't have issue with the salary.Just my two cents.
