He made some money along the way but unfortunately, missed the jackpot in the end.
I think he was entangled, seeing only the short term fluctuations of the stock, thinking that market makers were 100% responsible for the price movement.

Added 5000 shares myself at 11.50 today for a total of 15,000. Only 185,000 to go.
I'll be very happy if I can get my ACB around 10.50 or so.
