Avalon Advanced Materials Inc. is pleased to share its participation and activities at the 2020 Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention, taking place March 1-4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Avalon will once again be at its usual booth #2303 in the Investor’s Exchange, where company staff and consultants will be available to meet with shareholders and other conference delegates. Avalon’s President & CEO, Don Bubar, will be at Avalon’s booth the afternoon of Sunday, March 1.
Avalon has been selected to participate in the Corporate Presentation Forum for Investors: Energy Materials and Specialty Products 2 on Monday, March 2. Mr. Bubar will be presenting an update on Avalon’s critical mineral initiatives at 3:30 pm in room 803.

Technical Session: Technology Metals: Recent Trends and Opportunities (Tuesday, March 3)
Mr. Bubar will co-chair this session being held 9:00 – 11:30 am, featuring speakers on battery minerals and supply chains; developments in cathode materials for Li-ion batteries; manganese; graphene; and rare earths and technology for the electric vehicle revolution.
Short Course: Minimizing Environmental Impact (Friday, February 28)
This semi-annual course assists exploration companies to minimize the impact of their field operations on the environment. For the second time, Avalon’s Dr. Bill Mercer, Vice President, Exploration, and Mark Wiseman, Vice President, Sustainability, will be presenting in this course, which they established in 2018.
Short Course: Health and Safety in Mineral Exploration (Saturday, February 29)
Dr. Mercer and Mr. Wiseman will once again be chairing and presenting this field-oriented health and safety course, which has run successfully for eight years. Registration was required to attend both these sold-out workshops.
Technical Session: New Discoveries and Developments (Wednesday, March 4)
Dr. Mercer will co-chair this session being held 9:00 - 11:30 am, featuring recent discoveries from Wallbridge Mining Company, GoviEx Uranium Inc., Atlantic Gold Corporation, Adventus Mining Corporation and Vale Eksplorasi Indonesia / Sumbawa Timur Mining.
