PP terms

I have no problem with the terms of this deal reasonably above market.  Essentially higher than the 52 week high save July 27.  I'm used to seeing sweetheart deals that leave me wondering how/why companies can't raise a lowsy million or so from existing holders.

Is it that difficult to execute?  Legally challenging?  Risky (failure)?  If only the former, could technology not address that?  Would it not eliminate much of the negative sentiment around PP's if every existing stockholder were offered their portion of the same deal - even if for most that would represent a pittance.  Any unclaimed shares being offered in a second round with some increased ratio to ownership and then a final round first come first serve? Something along those lines.

Anyway, back to this deal.  Not a bad thing IMO.  My biggest issue is that the press release reads like the funds are basically being used to do more of the same, explore, process samples, work on optimizations, and publish reports and studies.   I guess that's the business (game) of these junior miners we love to invest (speculate) in. :-)

I still like this company and what at least appears on the surface to represent.

All the best.

Avalon has 20,000 share holders. Can you imagine what would be the diffulcuty and cost of contacting and processing applications by all of these shareholders to participate in each private placement offered?

I'm in IT.  It really don't think it would be anywhere near the largest problem technology has solved.  The complexities are probably in proof of identity/ownership and legal aspects I'm unaware of.  Maybe that's the killer app I've yet to come up with so I can stop playing penny stocks. ;-)
