RE:Business Fundamentals vs Stock Price

RE:Business Fundamentals vs Stock Price
Well Ed, you know I have been a long time holder of this stock and championed it for years. Still recommend it to customers.  Good product and people.
However, they have lost the edge they had a few years back and many others are at least equal to them now. On the flip side, they are biting at the heels of the two previous big dogs on the block /Panasonic and Pelco.    So that is truly great news and a great accomplishment for AVO.   I really enjoyed seeing a startup, take sales from large, lazy behemoths.

As I see it, the only true edge they now have over others is the product being made in the USA.  This in theory means better network security.  Cyber security is increasing in importance and AVO has a very nice edge on the others.   Arecont owners are Russian and the Russian bogey man is still very much alive

If I Like AXIS, Panasonic, Arecont cameras, I would not go with AVO. I would instead go with a Salient etc and use their analytics and video management software that they package together from a number of smaller software companies and incorporate into their platforms.

If I like AVO cameras and am satisfied with their analytics, and only want to deal with one video company, I would choose AVO

market is tougher then when they were riding high.

Right now I see AVO growing in a growth market.  They are growing and holding their own and that IS great.  So long term, they look solid.  What that means in SP is completely another thing.

Pieper, myself and others recognize the manipulation and the only real question I think that is relevant is.  How long will that last, and will the company be damaged by the lingering SP!

No one I know has ever really shot down the company’s product.  I certainly wouldn’t.  I may be less impressed then I was 4 years ago but the product and people are still good.  I may question AF decision on buying a building or card access company but he is richer than me, especially since he was awarded stock options and I had to pay full price.

So in my opinion we need.
A new product that is truly market changing and at a price that equals the already very low price of cameras or they get bought out.

I do not see price going up significantly in next quarter.  I say that because if all that was needed, was a good few quarters or even years. We never would never have tanked and be where we are today.  AF kept his promise of growth, company still is kicking @ss and market is growing.
It’s the ghost in the room that is messing things up. Some people panic and that give manipulators oxygen, but that is not the major factor or driver here.
