Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WATCH NEXT CC The problem is Samir Manji - not the Artis assets. Occupancy is up slightly to 90.1% versus 89.4% last year  and leases are being renewed for a weighted average rental increase of +4.9%. [taken from Artis Q4 MD&A page 4]

Less time spent investing in other public REITs and more time spent managing Artis interest expense last year would probably have given us a very different outcome in Q4 2022.
