Artis e prefs... they have price at 18, dividend at 1.8 and somehow have yield at 7.2%... math much? Canadian's put too much reliance on their financial institutions. The blind leading the blind.

That's because you don know how to read the document. CY means current yield = 9.95%.

However, there are at least 2 mistakes in that document: AIM.PR.A and AIM.PR.C. Current Yield on AIM.PR.C is 12.5%.

These are a great holding. Effective yield is over 11% on our ACB. Samir et al need to vacuum up as many of these he can get hold of for cancellation...... If he is serious about repairing the balance sheet, he could SIB them and stop buying dream shares!
