Shaking the Tree - professional trading on display
You may have heard the term "filling and backing", or shaking the tree, and you have never seen a better example of this process than you are witnessing with AXL. On August 6th, that day we traded 936,683 shares and spiked to .345, and closed at the price as well. Since that day, we have traded 8 days, and have traded a total of 2,366,256 shares and non of them have traded at .345. So on that day of trading Aug 6th, it was big buying, and you would ask why drive the stock up when so much is available? This is the "filling", hit the offer .... and the pull back. Some will fear the move is over and sell. Some will get a call from their broker and be told to "take profits" which is short for I need commission and wifey needs a new BMW. And its basic human nature .... you shake the tree .... you are trying to motivate people to sell. Once you have done this .... you load up the sell side of Level II ..... movitivating people even more to sell, confirming that a top has been put in. And you sit on the other side, picking off all the share that come into the market. When the selling exhausts itself .... you do it all over again ..... and you go to the next level. Having a long term stable capital structure, is a big help in making all this work. It really doesn't get better this .... and the Runway on this stock ... the visibility is better than you will ever find with most. Almost all news in the foreseeable future will be positive ... and that's unique .... and as this company grows it production this stock becomes an easy double, if not far more. Quite interesting to see ...... even if your not an investor, its a great market lesson. GLTA
