RE: Keno Hill still promises silver payday

RE: Keno Hill still promises silver payday<< Possibly NOVA could provide some funding; they're looking to raise money before the end of the year. >>

I would be surprised if NovaGold will provide any funding. They are trying to avoid further share dilution themselves. NG will get some cash from warrants if the SP is above C$7.00 on Oct 1.  But they will need that for existing commitments and Rock Creek will need a bit more time before it is Cash flow positive.

If you are referring to NG's plans to divest some of their assets (NovaGreenPower & Ambler) that's not going to happen very fast. At best they will announce plans by year end. These things don't seem to occur very quickly.

What I've been wondering about is if NG might make a friendly offer & merge with Alexco. NG wants to acquire near term production projects. Is 2010 near term enough ??

As for SLW,  that certainly could be an option. Maybe even a private equity placement ? (Like what they did with Sabina (SBB.V) a while back.
