4,401 for May 31 and increase from April 14 1,854
Just as i expected shorts are covering their positions before the summer precious metals run
not as high as Jan 31 but still rising short trades

Please explain how you can see short "covering" in that data? Your first comment was correct - the number of short trades increased. (to keep the price from jumping)
