More Stagflation in the U.S.
Existing home sales dropped over 3% and represents the 4th straight decline. Housing inventory is increasing and prices are still going up. (even with mortgage payments nearly doubling the level seen before the rate hikes)
As for our short's favorite, . . much of the crypto market is still closed to trading, but I did find it interesting that"
- A new fund was just started to SHORT bit coin ( BITI ) . A new fund to short ARK technology fund sure wasn't helpful to those tech stocks, so it will be interesting to watch the volume.
- A large crypto investor (ie Whale) is asking for regulatory help as margin calls are occurring and people can't trade their accounts, so are having a hard time satisfying the margin calls.
Sure makes you wonder how much our short (s) money is now tied up, lost and /or frozen, eh ? (Sure are a LOT of 100 share sales going on)
