RE:41$ mill The October 15 PR said Banro and Gold Holding expect to sign the definitive agreement related to the Twangiza transaction in one week to 10 business days. It did not say the deal would close in 10 days.
The next PR on NOv 4th confirmed that they had signed the definitive agreement. It did not give a date for the closing.
So far, there is nothing that contradicts the PRs. The pattern is that the PRs are being confirmed although with a delay to the expected timeline.
I don't know why you think that people in the Mid East act right away. They are quite slow actually. And closing transactions can take time.
That is not to say there is no risk here. There is always a risk a deal can fall apart. But that still doesn't justify the valuation of this company which is producing gold at very low cost. IMO.
