BB and automated trading systems

BB and automated trading systemsNot sure where to post this, so here goes.

Has anyone had experience with automated trading systems out there on the net? I've been looking into two and would appreciate feedback.

Smartrend (https://www.mysmartrend.com) gives buy/sell signals for thousands of stocks. Their performance looks impressive. I signed up for the free trial and poked around a bit. I found that once you included stops and commissions (like any rational trader would) the performance dries up quite a bit.

Another one is Stock-o-matic (https://www.stock-o-matic.com). Their performance looks great too (don't they all?). When you click through a symbol you can see performance charts and a list of trades. They do include stops and commissions and the numbers still look great.

Stock-o-matic also has a free version that gives buy/sell signals for a pretty good number of stocks, including BBRY.

I realize both are probably back-testing systems and one should be wary of them, but does anyone have experience with either, or any others like them? I might give Stock-o-matic a chance and follow along with the free version for a while and see if it works out going forward.

Thoughts?
