Perception of BlackBerry security is waining....

Perception of BlackBerry security is waining....Why is it that I never hear anyone mention boo about Blackberry and then today three of my friends and neighbors say "Hey, so I hear that Blackberry encryption has been compromised"! Blackberry, please do some damage control here and clarify this issue to people. We don't need any more reasons for people to bail from Blackberry.
