RE:RE:Watsa should be removed from board

RE:RE:Watsa should be removed from boardYou get an " F" for being foul mouthed. You shoukd know better since you have created a " info guru persona " here and elsewhere. Let' s be very clear. 1. when PW tried to find investors to take the.company private his attempts failed But he did the next best thing. He appointed JC and immediately financed BBRY with over 1.5 bill of debt , convertibles with a juicy 7% rate of return on debt. If any 3rd party makes any attempt to make a BO offer the convertible debentures get switched over to shares at $10 a pop.making Fairfax the shareholder with more.votes. Bottom line. If PW says it is no. If it is yes . It is yes. Even though he could not take the.company private he controls it and as JC as the man to face any music. As a shareholder of any shares of any company including funds it is totally legal to hedge any positions with calls puts collars etc. Any large institution that buys shares of blackberry or any other.company would be a fool not to use options to.protect the value or generate income or double the bet with a collar. We all know that PW has been a very large shareholder from the time when the sp was much higher than today. So if PW buys calls and writes puts before a run up or writes calls and closes puts at top of run up when RSI hits 80 is there anything illegal.in it? No. Is it possible that with all the winnings made.from hedges that his avg price per sharenis.close to today's? Maybe. MAYBE NOT. IS PW allowed to hedge.as he wants? Absolutely. It is not illegal. However when it comes to public information the very fact that he hired JC and is still the biggest debtor and could actually block any offer he does not like or can push through outrageous bonus.incentives that the gurus of thwae boards have no power to stop, as was done with JC, that is just the tip of the iceburg. As a board member he has access to info before the public does and he hapoens to.be the largest holder of bbry debt..Even if he does not want to.hear insider info, since he is both a large debt holder shareholder and board member , he hears it. Now. If you.are holding hundreds of millions worth of bbry would you or would you not use hedges to counter a head wind or exploit a dantastic development. Hell I would hedge all the time. And so would you . And when the headwind comes due to the sheer size of your positions both in equity and collars can the retail sp of share run up or crash suddenly ? Absolutely. Anything illegal in being hedged or selling hedges? No. My point is when a powerful fund manager as PW sits on a board he will have access to info before you me and the rest of the market does. It is a very fine line. If he acts before the market knows, then it is insider-trading. If he does not act because he was already hedged months before the news then no trouble.for him either. And if he acts only when all the market knows that is legal. What would you do? Hedge all the time that is what a smart fund managing team should do before for a company like blackberry that keeps redressing every quarter Chen says the the turn around plan is.done yet states there will be bumps along the way. That means the turn around is not over 100% Mixed.message aka "sandbagging" It is co.incidence when 3 quarters in a row a sp.falls even though the cash burn is literally peanuts compared to before. Call in co.incidence if you want or just bad luck or a fund decided to exit its position in BBRY. It is however a completely different story when.quarter after quarter SP is raped in value. When the rape happens calls are scooped for nothing making the writer lots of money. Incidentally the put holders make lots of money when sp falls by 2 bucks in weeks for no logical reason. When it happens.once twice three times or more then it is not.co.incidence. Big money can move markets when they decide. Is Watsa.big? His funds manage more money than Canads's yearly budget multiplied several times over. He is not the only one. Should he be sitting on the board? Because of potential conflict no he shouldn't. JMO If for some absurd reason you don't agree then refrain from using offensive statements. You do not need.to believe a single word I say. Your history for providing bulish opinions and hope does not give you the freedom to use metaphors that I hear from elected officials..Do not go there. Do not assume you know everything because you don't. Nobody does. Not even you. But those who short raided bbry knew exactly when to execute. Timed perfectly . My short term opinion: this stock can go as low as 8.60 before it truly hits the bottom. My decision to add during the raid was off by a.buck so far. Conclusion: The car segment and the IOT segment of the industry will grow huge. Earnings can jump if bbry is correctly positioned. They are missing minimum 3 important pieces. They will have to buy the missing parts . They dont have time to develop it themselves. The entertaining content that riders will be exposed to during their rides including 1. ad platforms running simultaneously when they work from the car or watch news or surf on the way to work..whoever owns that software building block will make google earnings look like a joke. Is BBRY positioned for that yet? BBRY does not earn a percentage of any ad revenues on ads any revs on sales.of any prods or services that riders of driverless would be exposed to during their rides to their destination. The entertainment portal BBRY should own it and license it out to entertainment providers like Netflix YouTube The ability to run ads on the same portal BBRY should own and liscense out to ad brokers who position their ads. The ability to sell anything via on the entertainment portal , that software should be owned by bbry and whenever anyone buys anything through a portal bbry earns a percentage of the sale and would be paid by the seller directly to bbry or it can be the payment solution that pays directly to bbry the same way banks force stores to pay a cut when say a person pays with their visa for anything. If bbry buys into the portal space and positions itself as a landlord of the portal collects a cut on ads and collects a cut on sales of products and services then this stock which is hated by brokers can become.a $1000 stock because the revs would skyrocket as millions of transport solutions opt for.the bbry portal software , that kicks back a cut to the owners of the vehicules that have the bbry entertainment hub , the same way uber kicks back a cut of revs to drivers, ..get it.. The big money is in the value of prods services sold via the portal. And why would you use the bbry portal while riding a train? Why not use your cell? Actually you sign.in with your cell. Make the purchase. The seller kicks back to bbry and bbry kicks back to you. Win Win. Insane amount of revs to earn. They need to.become the landlord of the space..like yesterday.. I applaud management that have a vision and execute. Window dressing I hate. So far I am not convinced it will become a landlord of the space. I hope to be wrong on that. Chen does not seem to be in any kind of hurry. He is extremely tight lipped about his vision. He follows his orders. What will be all the branches of QNX? No landlord signs yet Add at your risk. * I own a small call option position exp 2020
