RE:RE:Partial history of QNX under John Chen

RE:RE:Partial history of QNX under John ChenHey Yasch. As always, thanks for the good info you post to this board. I am not challenging the numbers you provide re the QNX revenues and embeds but I must point out that in 2010, QNX sftwr, was selling for $ 1.76 per embed. In 2015, after increasing the the number of embeds by more than 3 times, the price per embed was still a respectable $ 1.67. Today, after not quite dbling the number of embeds from 2015, they have reduced the price to $ .88 per embed. There can be a multitude of reasons for this and a lot of tech does get cheaper with time, however the reduction in price generally comes with an expansion of services that would add to the suppliers  revenue and for the buyer add to the overall quality and/or the features of the end product. Perhaps that alone is the principle reason for partnering with AWS. I certainly don't know but if I were ever trying to sell off the QNX division, I probably wouldn't open my sales pitch with those stats. Thanks again. GLTA.
