RBC in their latest agree that the market is assigning no value from the patent sale - they believe there is a pregnant cdn$ 1.25 bounce on an announcement. 


RBC also say that bb intends to pay off the debentures in November- and infer it will be with patent proceeds.

if they take out those debentures, which are really a disguised poison pill, there could really be some action

The discussion from BB on the patent sale- preparation of final documentation is under way but felt compelled to point out that there were 2 parties with good financing. All in all didn't sound like the sale was imminent.
Question though, when/if it does occur will the proceeds be considered income? May be there are some expenses to account in order to calculate a net amount?
