RE:Prem and Johnny vs The Scorpions

RE:Prem and Johnny vs The ScorpionsFairfax's rescue did come at a price... IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME CORRECT..wasn't that called the "TAKE UNDER" rescue??? (this is when i first bought in thinking the break-up value was a whole lot more, so did the market, but Prem came in at a much lower price than what it was trading at...)

to support my previous post about Prem - not my words

BlackBerry Ltd. shareholders voted to keep Prem Watsa as lead director, despite complaints from a proxy advisory firm and a prominent investor that he (Prem) failed to ensure the company’s executive pay is aligned with its performance.

Glass Lewis criticized Watsa for a misalignment between executive pay and performance in recent years, while Gardner emphasized conflicts of interest between Watsa’s board duties and his position as a shareholder — he controls Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd., BlackBerry’s largest investor.

How about this outside of Blackberry??

  • Fairfax was in blatant conflict in Resolute’s bid for Fibrek
  • Fairfax CEO (Prem) was a reluctant, defensive witness in case: judge

    more stories out there-just sayin'...dwdc
