RE:From: MoMoney66 at STYou can't IPO QNX. Have you looked at Chen's forcast for QNX/IOT for next 4 years? The growth is not going to impress wallstreet, its like 20%. WS wants to see 70-90% growth for startups...that s what they got used ot. Look at growth of CRWD, they were growing at 50% plus even with high revenue.
Chen tells his employees its not possible to grow that high so he kills the mindset of sales employees. the CEO should be leading but when a CEO says growth can only be 10-15%, well the employees have that as mindset and will only get that much. Chen is old school CEO that's not used to growth of companies...he's never run companies that have high growth so there's that!!
spinoff only works if QNX is growing at 50%. QNX department is only supposed to be like 500M a year in 2027. That's not much when you have CRWD saying they will be 4.5 billion by 2025. Which company would you put your money in?
