Soooo. thought a little trip down memory lane could spell the truth on that
10 day anverage "closing" price that afforded Chen...3 million shares.

During the meme / reddit craze...the best 10 days of closing fell between
January 19th to February 1st. And the share price average.....$15.75 US

Hardly seems like a bonus was called for ??

Doesn't matter if it was called for or not, that was the negotiated deal. Maybe Chen has an agent/lawyer who knows how to draw up a contract. BOD didn't have to accept it but they obviously approved it....who's fault is that? Athletes can have a good run for couple weeks and score big on a contract, happens all the time. Usually the GM gets hung out to dry when for the rest of the year

It's in plain English in an SEC filing....it doesn't say weighted average.  It says Average.   He did not meet the threshold.  When was P Watsa deposed from the compensation committee again?

What if I told you that blackberry admitted to me that they made a "mistake" on the SEC filing and it should've said volume weighted average. would you even believe me?
