$BB my personal guess on imperium is that IVY is the entity in consideration for a spinoff. Here's why: 1) the capability that IVY provides is necessary for any company/governement/individual looking to "tie together" all of the varying data elements of a intelligent security everywhere 2) everyone wants that to happen, because that is what data makes possible. Better business, better lifestyles, dramatically evolved used cases 3)the gatekeeper for this capability is best suited to remain committed to that if the capability is collectively owned by many of the beneficiaries (ie shareholders) otherwise, a single owner could be perceived to play favorites as we often see today 4) these capabilities are the gateway to potentially unfathomable recurring "access" revenues. Imagine app stores far broader and far more reaching than status quo. Allowing new owners to benefit in this is incentive to make it the standard. I think IVY is the cog wheel of the 4th industrial revolution.. $$$$

Why would you spin off at the lowest possible valuation?  Any first year business student knows you do not spin off when you have not turned the corner and are not growing.  It seems that board wants to ensure shareholders receive the lowest possible valuation. Chen will get his golden parachute and MS will get their fees. Watsa gets IVY on the cheap.  Complete con job.

what's your estimates shareholders will get if they spin off now? I think we need to sell the iot devision to a chinese company/china. Just as payback to wallstreet.  at this point i'm not sure if CEO change will even help. Everything is collapsing including revenue year after year.  We needed name change like 5 years ago and we needed marketing...if you are going to change ...more
