May i remain you that Bomber did not sell one single plane for over a year and then they were it by the big Boeing bully back by the Trump thinkers ...the were aiming for the kill shot ...if Bellemare would not have been bold enough right there to move quickly to make that courageous deal with AB it may have been the end of the CS series -no sales no volume no cash flow coming in to justify continuing the program - it was almost a dead end . Canada did not want them to partner with China for all the reasons we know there was only AB lefts and the deal was seal according to AB conditions . The 2 goverments got want they want : jobs for many years Bomber was left with what they could get -and it will turn out to be good and the program save - I dont think bigger planes like the 500-700 will ever be build as they will be competing to the bigger profitable AB planes . The new ruler is not Bomber but Airbus . Anybody thinking the deal will be change is in my humble opinion a dreamer . When that deal was sign ALL was taking care of including a highly improbable win on the high US tax . Theas guys are pro and their lawyers know better for the high price they charge all those big public companies . May be i am wrong and we will know before the end of this year but my biusiness experience tells me the contrary ...we will see soon but dont get to much hope : that deal was sealed last October one way or the other . Well I have my own conspiracy theory and it goes like this:
That Airbus and Boeing would conspire together to help Bombardier Inc. in reaching their
objective of for filling a niche in regards to the 100 to 150 commercial seat segment. On the one condition, that Bombardier Inc. would nix(kill) any further plans for the CS500.
