My sense is that you are really a believer, someone who has a grievance with management, wanting to get back at them for what you perceive as destroying a once very profitable company with very bad decisions, but deep down wishing them great success.

This Jekyll and Hyde syndrome is quite common, a reaction to deep emotional pain.
