Bombardier Inc. > THE PERFECT STORM FOR BUYING

THE PERFECT STORM FOR BUYING

There are a nmber of reasons I'm so intrigued about Bombardier right now, Obviously, the current price when compared to company prospects is a huge motivator to take a position.  While some people might feel fear, a steady hand sees opportunity, and that is where the money gets made.

But what I'm really quite excited about is what I consider to be the Perfect Storm that will be a HUGE driver for the company.  What is that perfect storm? The order book and back orders.

Consider the following:

1) Bombardier arguably has the best business jets out there right now, and are already showing a strong backorder even within more challenging financial times.  Now add in them beefing up the service centre component, and I think there will be even more compelling reasons to consider Bombardier as the absolute leader.

But to consider the Perfect Storm, consider the outside factors that are going to be STRONG drivers of business jet sales.

1) Covid: I think this has driven a LOT of sales, with people and companies just not wanting to be put at infection risk.  While Covid has somewhat gone into the background of the news cycle, infection rates remain very high, and new variants continue to come out.  In all likelyhood, this has become an illness that we will now "learn to live with", and deal with in our own chosen ways.  For those with the $$'s, and who travel a lot, this is certainly one way of mitigating risk.

2) Airport turmoil:  There is an ongoing mess at airports around the world, with thousands of flights cancelled daily,  lost luggage, and people losing their minds.  While this problem will ultimately resolve, it is very much front and centre currently, and has been for months.  Again, this will push those who were considering the private jet option to actually pull the trigger and commit.

3)  Future travel:  While the current airport crisis will subside, there is going to be a growing an ongoing problem with future air travel, in that we are now at the beginning of a massive pilot shortage that is going to impact airlines for years to come.  Already, pilots used to take about 22 years to reach the level of being the captain of prime routes (Asia etc).  That wait for pilots is already reduced to 8 years.
While this problem is generally longer than my timeline in this stock, it is going to be a further driver to private jet purchases, as people just won't want to deal with the hassles of trying to find flights.

So is all of this the perfect storm for biz jet sales? Absolutely.  Both in the near term, and also in the longer term. Bombardier will benefit greatly from all of this, and especially with them being what I consider to be the industry leader.  This is why I say there is literally something for everyone in this stock right now, from trader to investor.  In all timeframes, there is a LOT of money to be made.

Enjoy.

With regard to the blossoming pilot shortage, there are all kinds of articles on this.  Google is your friend.  Here's just one of them:  CLICK HERE TO READ

Good to see the alternative flying choice having trouble with supply of flights. Private jet flying is, too, because of inadequate supply of planes, pilots, and repair parts. But, relatively, it's in better shape than commercial, who are actually cutting back the number of flights.   Looking forward to Bomber's outlook commentary tomorrow!

yes, we are Looking forward to Bomber's outlook commentary tomorrow!  that will be a key to wether bbd.b will go up of continue sliding

Star, Agree with everything you say here. We're ready for a long-overdue, huge move up. The day before the reverse split bbd.b was trading at the equivalent of $28+. There was no reason to lop ten bucks off that price. Just short sellers playing with the irrational fears of investors after the 25:1 consolidation.

I would be patient here.  As far as I'm concerned the stock is now set for a significant move up, on both a fundamental assessment and technical assessment.  While it might be tempting to take some profit, being even just a little patient here will see far superior gains to today's move.

star, thank you it maybe happening now already 6% up 22.90+1.31 (+6.07%) i hope it will keep going up or at least hold

Absolutely. I added a couple of thousands shares to my already large position at $21. I don't plan on starting  to sell any of them until we're at $50+

I am likey more skeptical as this as I previously mentioned the last qtr is looking like a carbon copy prior to release of last report report.   Another setup for a short attack ?  Some profit taking  here IMO is certainly justified.

club, you may be right, usually bbd.b goes down on or after results even positive ones

Club, respectfully i think you're off the mark here. I get that there may be a little previous stock ptsd here... totally understandable. But that in fact is what has created the current opportunity, and the task now is to think clearly going forward without the past legacy torquing thinking. It is a vastly different worldfor Bombardier now. There are two components to the quarter... First ...more

STAR, EXACTLY AS YOU SAID " It's the future guidance that is going to be important here," that is what will decide where bbd.b will be heading
Comment by vonSachsenanhal on Aug 03, 2022 2:20pm
Agree again. I think what could happen now is the that those who were putting the brakes on the share price while accumulating a position will take their foot off the brakes. The result could be a steep climb in price over the coming months. I believe we could see a replay of the stocks recent history when it climbed from 26 cents to 2.20 very quickly. I doubled down on my position in the 40 to 50 ...more

Star I hear you... We are  just about 1/2 way through the 5 yr turn around plan and little concrete evidence that the institutions are on board  and the sp price has enough catching up to do just to get back to pre-split  price area,    IMO too many variables in the short term not to take profits as it moves up and from past experience. not because PTS. IMO, it is only ...more
