By my calculation
With thee moves, they'll save about $55 million over the years of pushing the principal of $1.5B down to the 2030's and pay off about $1.2B by the end of 2024 or early 2025. These are smart moves

We'll definitely be down to $4.4B-$4.5B in LTD, and Net Debt of $3.2B range by early 2025, and closer to $3.5B. In LTD and $2.2B of NET Debt in early 2026. Our Eaning ratio for early 2025 will go to 2.3. That's some good numbers coming.

859, you and I have been here for around the same time. I know it can change for you but currently what is your sell target? Personally, I would be happy to see the 2018 high of $139 ($5.50 pre-split) price get taken out and challenge the $225 ($9 pre-split) high from 2008. That would be victory.

Hi Flamongo. Sorry, I don't know how I missed your post yesterday. Had to get some things done. Like you, I have close to the same targets. The only difference is is that, I want to see the stock split once for 3 to 1, when we reach $140. Cheers

Hey Temp. The more we discuss that this management is trying to reach to an investment grade title. The more I realize that you're probably right. They just won't get there soon enough to matter. Their problem is, is that this sector is very cash reliant. So their yearly cash requirement will hinder their path.

In the period 2014-2019 I follow the Air Canada's quest for an investment grade rating; 6 years to be BB+ and then The Covid crisis put all these efforts to junk. They were back to B+ (april 2021- march 2023). Today they were at BB-. A long quest.

One more thought Temp. Even if they don't reach investment grade, and they only get close to it. We are still winners as Investors. They are a way better company now, than when I first started investing in them.

And the learning curve works....they will never do the same mistakes. Martel (and the board) looks like very focus on his targets, doing a nice execution. We'll be richer. Good luck.
