Bomber update
Just happen to meet Bomber employ who works at Dorval plant since 2003.
Here is what he told me:
1. All planes, Global and Challenger, are finished in Montreal.
2. The Global and Challengers are flown from Toronto to Montreal with no paint, no inside
finishes, nothing. They actually put weights in the plane to stabilize it for the flight.
3. All planes for Q3 deliveries are already in Montreal, so Toronto plant will have no impact on Q3 deliveries.
4. He said the 18 day strike could impact Q4 deliveries, which is The Bomber's biggest month.
5. According to him, The Bomber will have to authorize some overtime in Toronto in order to meet the Global delivery numbers for 2024.
6. The Challenger plane production is less affected by the strike and should be ok.
7. Bottom line: 2024 delivery estimates should be met or close to it but margins affected due to overtime expenses.
More to follow (MTF) when I met this guy again.

IMO WE SHOULD NOT WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT meeting delivery target if as you said "6. The Challenger plane production is less affected by the strike and should be ok." we should be ok as if my memory is good, i think bbd had said that majority of delivered 2024 jets will be small to med size (= challenger) so if as you said in no 6 is true then no worries
