RE:why was the learjet scraped?????I heard learjet being scrapped because other companies across the globe are getting into production of similar jets, like Russia, China and others. Therefore, for Bombardier its becoming much less profitable to compete in a crowded environment. Its the reason why they are betting so heavily on the C Series to generate future profits but it looks as of now that its only a select group of people and the government will profit from the new deal, it successful and not the retail shareholders of Bombardier.
