Boeing and F-18 contract

Boeing and F-18 contractNow that BBD is teaming up with Airbus and the likelihood of the CSeries being put together in the US, the 300% taxes will likely going to be irrelevant. Even more so if Bombardier buys back the Quebec Government share of the CSeries.

Consequently, given that they do not have anything to gain anymore, Boeing could very well withdraw their accusations about Bombardier doing some dumping and the illegal government subsidies to Bombardier with the hope that they will now be able to bid for the CF-18 contract.

I just hope that  the Canadian Government will not go for this as the Government had stated before that  Boeing had to withdraw their complaint to be able to bid on the F-18.

It would be terribly embarrassing for Canada if we go ahead with the F-18 contract. Boeing has to pay for their arrogance.
